Kevin Scanlon

From New Hampshire, Kevin Scanlon has been drawn to singing and playing music since he was a small child. His influences are a diverse mix of modern and historical music including Old Time, Bluegrass, Early Country, and Celtic music. He has also been greatly inspired by Doc Watson, Bela Fleck, Ray Price, Bob Wills, Neil Young, Tom Waits, and many more.

Kevin blends all of his influences and his unique take on music to create his own dynamic sound. His shows contain mostly original music featuring the banjo, guitar, harmonica, and vocals. He is also known to improvise and do variations of his songs. Recently he has added live looping to his shows which has really opened up all kinds of possibilities.
