Pray:

Gracious God, thank you for the gift of song — for the hymns that carry us when our own words run out. Teach us to remember your faithfulness, to sing your praises together, and to become the seed, the yeast, the salt you're planting in the world around us. Whatever this week holds, let it be filled with your praise. In Jesus' name, Amen.

As we reflect on worship and the gift of song, these questions invite us to consider how music and community shape our faith. Take a moment to explore your own experiences and discover where God’s presence has been felt most deeply.

1. Is there a hymn or song that has made you remember a hard

season — one whose words you carry even when your own faith

feels thin? What is it, and why does it matter to you?

2. Think of a time singing with others — in church, at a gathering,

anywhere — did something for you that singing alone never

    could. What was that like?

3. Psalm 105 says we may be the seed, the yeast, the salt God is

using in the world. Where might God be inviting you to be that

“instrument” this week — even in a small, quiet way?
